Resistance Leader: Dr. Jones was secretly experimenting on humans. He found a way to access their brain and break their free will, making them command his will. He also found the way to make them super human, have these unnatural powers that no normal human possesses.

Unknown voice: And apparently he's the reason behind all this

Everyone turns around, looking at a girl who carried Squirtle on her back

Catherine: My name is Catherine. I'm an ex agent of the Cerulean police force. I was one of the people responsible for the operation BLAST OUT

Erika: The famous operation which arrested thousands of rocket members?

Catherine: That's right! Unfortunately I wouldn't call that mission a huge success

Catherine: While we did manage to capture almost all of the Team Rocket, we failed to capture Giovanni though

she looks at some of the pictures where it shows Dr. Jones handshaking with Giovanni

Catherine: I was the one who took these pictures. I was undercover, and was working as a Rocket Grunt. My mission was to find the location of Giovanni's hideout and later to inform the police where exactly is. The police did arrive and surrounded the HQ, but something... unexpected happened. Right as we surrounded the building, we thought everything was over. On some miracle, the whole building suddenly went into air like a... a space rocket, and Giovanni escaped, along with our last hope of ending the Team Rocket

She carefully dropped the squirtle on the ground.

Catherine: If only we knew that before...
