The Adventures of the Mystery Gems: Oh Starry Knight (case 2)

When Rockets and other shady figures are up to no good, it's up to a group of five friends known as The Mystery Gems to solve the case.

Led by budding filmmaker Maya Nijiiro, the team goes around the four regions, cracking tough cases on the way.

Case #2: Oh, Starry Knight

"Come on, Lita..." a brown haired girl sighs as she urges a tiny yellow mouse creature to keep up with her. "I wanted to see 'The Great Pearl' but you had to see 'The Legend of Zelda: The Movie' twice." she sighs.

"Pikachu..." the creature sighs.

She bumps into a personal friend of hers.

"Hey, Maya! Lita!"

This man was Alex, personal friend of Maya and top detective... well, just in his world. He's not that bad but he has a leader complex. It's up to Claude, his partner Combusken, to pop his cloud whenever he drifts away.

"How are you doing?"

"Pika!" Lita smiles.

"We're on our way home from the movies--I was going to see the adventure flick 'The Great Pearl', but Lita just 'had' to see 'The Legend of Zelda: The Movie' twice." Maya sighed. "And here we are on a late and cold night."

I can take you home if you want. I was just taking a walk with Claude. Let's get on our way-- hey is that your cellphone ringing?

I notice that "Beautifly" is blaring from my pocket, so I answer the phone. "Hello?"

(Someone really should pop up here. Where are you, rp-ers?)

Arrives with a honda motorbike


Me: Hi. Name's Desmond. Chief Inspector Desmond

"Hello there..all seems to b-" Maya starts, until she sees Lita shuddering at some rustling in a bush. "What's the matter?"

"Pika pika..." Lita explains.

"Something scary?" Maya creeps up to the rustling bush, only to see a Lotad emerge some seconds later. "Oh, it was only a Lotad." she smiles. Lita heaves a sigh of relief.

Who was that in your cellphone?

"Oh, that was my roomate, wondering where I was." Maya replied.

I guess you should return home. it's getting a bit late and the streets at night are dangerous. I can go with you if you want and we may have more time to talk that way.

But suddenly, a robber steals Rubies bag.

"Chu!" Lita zaps the theif and brings Maya's bag to her.

(I've told you you can't go out of trouble this easy)
The zapping missed and the robber starts running faster, so we all start chasing him! Chief inspector, you're on a freaking vehicle! Do something!

"Make a blockade!" Maya calls as Lita charges up again.

As if hearing her call, some of the wild Pokemon in the area start heaving rocks and fallen trees to block the thief's path, making sure it is high enough for him to not jump over it

The thief finds another way, jumps on a bike.


I start my bike.

Maya summons her Pidgeot in an attempt to follow the thief

Maya recalled the dazed Pidgeot just in time to see the thief stuck in the blockade after being blocked off by police cars.

"Thank you so much..." Maya gratefully sighs as Officer Jenny returns her bag. Thankfully, nothing was stolen

Thief punched Officer Jenny in the nose, kicked Maya in stomach and took her bag again. He took a police car, and drove away

Jenny isn't hurt too bad, but Maya joins some other officers for the chase

Shots fired, shots fired

Maya gets down to avoid being shot

While maya is down, thief slowly starts to loose the police

But as she stuggles to get up, Lita fires a thunderbolt into the sky...and others run to help
